The Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care sector is rapidly growing, offering excellent opportunities and a favorable work-life balance (no on-call duties or weekend shifts)!

We are looking for a Full-Time provider (30-40 hours weekly) for our Pocahontas Center situated in Marlinton, WV. This role is open to either a nurse practitioner or a physician assistant. New graduate nurse practitioners are encouraged to apply, although we cannot accommodate new graduate physician assistants.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $125,000, along with an uncapped incentive compensation bonus program.

Key Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider will report directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager. This role involves collaborating on-site with the Center Leadership Team to meet specific center goals and priorities. Additionally, the Advanced Practice Provider will work alongside the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician to deliver patient-specific medical care.

The Advanced Practice Provider will offer primary and urgent care services to residents of the nursing center, working in conjunction with other medical professionals. This position aims to fulfill our organization's mission of enhancing lives through high-quality healthcare and compassionate service.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a license as a registered nurse. Nurse Practitioners should be certified by completing an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with a Master’s Degree in Nursing, focusing on Older Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialties. Other concentrations may be considered based on experience and organizational needs. Physician Assistants must graduate from an ARC-PA accredited program and pass the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to obtain the PAC designation, along with state licensure and NCCPA certification.

A minimum of two years of experience working with adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

In states where permitted, APRNs must possess an unrestricted professional license and DEA for each state of practice. PAs must also have an unrestricted professional license and DEA for their respective states.

Note: Restrictions may apply based on collective bargaining agreements, state laws, and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service. To qualify for full-time benefits, a minimum of 30 hours per week is required. Some benefits, including health plans, may not be available to part-time employees working between 16 and 29 hours per week.

Salary Range

Annual Salary: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00
