Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and strong Oasis skills for a day shift Home Health assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Home health setting serving Seaside, OR and surrounding areas
  • Patients are seen 1:1, up to 6 visits per day with productivity standard of 30 points
  • Shift is 8-hour days; facility cannot accommodate 4x10 or 3x12 schedules
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • No floating required between units, but travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state if needed
  • EMR systems used include Epic (Remote Client for Home Health), Rover app, and Oasis
  • Own transportation is required due to travel between patient homes; daily driving radius may be up to 60 miles
  • Role involves evaluating, planning, and delivering physical therapy interventions in patient homes
  • Productivity expectations measured by point system, standard is 30 points per day
  • System strives to minimize drive and windshield time between clients
  • Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
  • Business casual attire or scrubs allowed (no jeans or specific color required)
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • Returning permanent staff must wait at least 3 months and live more than 50 miles from facility
  • All travelers must be willing to float between facilities within state as needed
  • Limited to minimal time off; time off must be addressed before assignment is confirmed
  • Free parking available on assignment
  • Completion of onboarding modules required pre-start and annually

  • Minimum 1 year of recent skilled home health physical therapy experience required
  • Current BCLS certification required
  • Experience working with Oasis is required
  • Experience using Epic EMR system required
  • Reliable personal vehicle required for travel between patient locations
  • Primary COVID vaccination series and booster required
  • Pending license accepted; license required if applicable
