Infucare RX is seeking an experienced Controller with healthcare or specialty pharmacyto join our team in Fairfield, NJ. This is an onsite leadership role in Fairfield, responsible for driving the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of all accounting and financial reporting operations.
As the Controller, you’ll serve as a key strategic partner within our finance organization, leading accounting functions, enhancing internal controls, and implementing process improvements to support scalable growth. Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all accounting department operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes and prepare timely financial statements.
- Partner with internal teams and external auditors to coordinate annual audits and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Collaborate with FP&A to deliver actionable financial insights and executive management reporting packages.
- Develop, document, and maintain financial controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Establish internal controls in collaboration with cross-functional teams to support scalable business operations.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze results, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Stay current with evolving accounting standards (GAAP) and implement new policies as required.
- Manage relationships with external consultants, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Mentor, train, and develop team members to promote growth, engagement, and accountability.
- Contribute to system enhancement and ERP implementation initiatives to improve automation and reporting capabilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or MBA highly preferred.
- Healthcare or specialty pharmacy industry experience highly desirable.
- 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including managing onsite and remote teams.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Experience implementing financial systems and process automation preferred.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
