Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time school psychologist working within a supportive educational community near Sebago, ME. This contract opportunity involves close collaboration with students, families, and staff across multiple campuses. With a schedule of 33.75 hours per week, you’ll focus primarily on conducting evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and coordinating individualized intervention plans. Counseling experience is welcome and would enhance your impact, but is not required. While caseloads span Pre-K through 12th Grade, there is flexibility if Pre-K is outside your expertise.
Qualifications:
- Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting educational and psychological evaluations
- Familiarity with IEP process and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with Pre-K through 12th grade populations (though Pre-K experience is not mandatory)
- Counseling experience is a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer a variety of assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations
- Develop and coordinate intervention plans tailored to individual student requirements
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all evaluations and meetings
- Navigate responsibilities across up to four different schools as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student success
- (If applicable) Provide direct counseling services to students
