• Summer Analyst (Undergraduate and Graduate Student Internship – Summer 2026)

• Summit Consulting, LLC, is a quantitative and qualitative analysis firm that uses economics, statistics, and data analytics to solve problems for our federal and private-sector clients. While Summit staff can work remotely and/or at our Washington, DC, location, our interns should expect a hybrid schedule.

  Highlights of Summit's Internship Program:

  • 10-week experience in the Summer of 2023 (Anticipated to start Monday, June 1, 2026, through Friday, August 8, 2026)

  • Our office is in the heart of DC's Chinatown. This means you can easily reach our offices by public transportation.

  Apply to this position if you:

• • Have a GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Plan to complete your undergraduate or graduate degree in a field such as economics, finance, statistics, policy, data science, or applied mathematics between December 2026 and May 2027
  • Are a S. citizen (our work with Federal clients limits our hiring to U.S. citizens only)
  • Use, or have an interest in using, R, Stata, Python, or SAS to analyze data
  • Use, or have an interest in using, VBA and macros
  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Can ably assist our consultants with report writing and PowerPoint presentations
  • Love working closely with others in a team environment
  • Can work from our DC office at least three days per week during the internship

• Internship Interview Process:

  1. First Round: A member of Summit's Recruitment team will contact you for an initial phone call. Here we'll learn a little more about you and why you're interested in Summit's internship program.
  2. Second Round: If selected to move forward, you will participate in a panel interview and discuss your experience (mainly in the areas of finance, policy, economics, data science, and communications) and how you may work with Summit's
  3. Offer: If selected, we'll provide an offer to join us next. Please be prepared to submit to a background check.
