Commercial HVAC/R Technician

Majestic Mechanical

We are hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Technician to join our team. This position is hands-on and requires strong diagnostic ability, versatility, and professionalism.

Primary work includes

VRF / VRV systems
DOAS units
Commercial HVAC equipment
Low-temperature & commercial refrigeration (down to -40&degree;F; plasma centers, hotels, and specialty facilities — non-supermarket)
Controls-driven systems
Service, startup, and installation of commercial HVAC/R systems

Carrier
Daikin / LG VRF
Commercial refrigeration systems (various manufacturers)

What we’re looking for

Commercial HVAC experience required
Refrigeration experience strongly preferred
Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently without hand-holding
Comfortable seeing projects through from install to startup and service
Clean work habits and professionalism

Our work covers the full lifecycle of commercial HVAC/R systems — service, troubleshooting, installation, startup, and long-term support. We specialize in technically demanding equipment, including VRF/VRV systems, DOAS units, controls-driven commercial HVAC equipment, and low-temperature refrigeration systems down to -40&degree;F. We do not service supermarket rack systems.

Because we are a small, owner-led operation, there is direct communication, quick decision-making, and very little bureaucracy. Technicians work closely with ownership, expectations are clear, and good work is noticed. We don’t micromanage, and we don’t create unnecessary layers between the people doing the work and the decisions being made.

We do not separate work into rigid “service” or “install” roles. Our technicians are expected to be versatile and service-minded, capable of seeing systems through from installation and startup to ongoing service. This approach builds stronger technicians with deeper system knowledge and better troubleshooting skills.
