We are looking for a talented and experienced Mortgage Banking or Real Estate industry professional to join our team in the Chicagoland area. If you are currently a Mortgage Loan Advisor/Consultant who has proven sales skills and is experienced at building relationships in the Real Estate community with Real Estate Agents and Real Estate Owner/Brokers, you may be the person we are looking for!


One of our "Top" Loan Officers is seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Officer to join the team to support future business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and relationship-building skills along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and public speaking experience.

Compensation:

$50,000 yearly plus Bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and nurture new referral partners for the sales team to explore new growth opportunities within the Chicagoland Real Estate Community.
  • Develop relationships with Builders, Financial Advisors, and community leaders.
  • Ensure that agents and partners are informed of new loan programs, incentives, and events, and utilize that information to bring in new leads.
  • Work within your specific geography to find new business opportunities.
  • Report monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met.
  • Develop and maintain referral partnerships with realtors and business partners.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Mortgage Lending or the Real Estate Industry is required.
  • Current U.S. Driver’s License and the ability to travel by car.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Proven Experience in B2B sales or within the Mortgage/Real Estate community.
  • An ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys working with people, and demonstrates proven sales and business development experience.
  • Public Speaking and Event Planning experience is preferred.
