Job Description Job SummaryWe are seeking an LPN to join our team full-time or part-time! As a Triage Nurse you will evaluate patients by phone or electronically to determine the severity of symptoms and appropriate next steps.&nbsp; The nurse uses clinical judgment, nursing protocols, and assessment skills to prioritize and provide timely guidelines. Responsibilities&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs</li>
<li>Assess patients' symptoms, medical history, and current condition.</li>
<li>Recommend appropriate care, such as emergency services, urgent care, same day appointments, or routine follow-up</li>
<li>Communicate with physicians and physician assistants.</li>
<li>Provide patient education regarding symptoms, medications, treatments, and follow-up care.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Current LPN license</li>
<li>BLS Certification&nbsp;</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail</li>
