Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in home infusion services, offering a 60-day contract assignment. The role requires managing IV compounding and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) preparations, as well as overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians within a home infusion environment.
Location: Columbia, MD
Schedule: Wednesday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate IV admixture compounding
- Manage TPN formulations to ensure patient safety and efficacy
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
- Adhere to all sterile compounding standards and protocols
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines in a home infusion setting
Qualifications:
- Recent experience in home infusion pharmacy practice
- Demonstrated expertise in sterile compounding procedures
- Active and clear pharmacy license in Maryland
- Strong organizational and communication skills for team management
