The Role: Outside Sales Representative (Ohio)
We’re looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative based in Ohio to drive growth in the region. In this field-based role, you’ll own the sales cycle - from prospecting to closing—while building relationships with salons, spas, and barbershops.
You’ll play a key role in introducing businesses to our all-in-one booking and point-of-sale platform, helping owners operate more efficiently, increase revenue, and better serve their clients.
Note: This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel (greater than 60%) within Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage your own pipeline through outbound efforts and in-person visits.
- Work with our banking partners representatives and Clover sales force for leads in the Greater Ohio area.
- Develop strong relationships with prospective and existing clients across the beauty and wellness industry.
- Educate owners and managers on BookedBy’s platform (booking, POS, and payments) and how it reduces costs, saves time, and drives growth.
- Deliver compelling live product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding for new clients.
- Cultivate relationships with both new and existing partners.
- Attend occasional conferences and trade shows to represent BookedBy.
- Track leads, activities, and progress in our CRM (Salesforce preferred).
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets with both independent and franchised businesses.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and product developments to effectively engage prospects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years of outside sales experience (SaaS, payments, or salon/spa industry preferred).
- Based in Ohio with flexibility for frequent statewide travel.
- Proven track record of building pipelines and closing deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities; adept at multitasking.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and sales data tracking.
- Skilled at handling objections and guiding prospects to close.
