Crate Builder Pay Rate and Hours:
- $16/hr
- Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4pm
Crate Builder Job Summary:We are seeking hardworking and dependable individuals to join our team as Crate Builders. This role involves the repetitive assembly of wooden crates using hand and power tools. Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read a tape measure accurately. Prior experience in carpentry, woodworking, or farm work is a plus. We hire for attitude and train for skill—if you’re eager to learn, we want you on our team!
Crate Builder Responsibilities:
- Build wooden crates and pallets according to specifications
- Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure accurately
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, and adhesives
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
- Perform repetitive tasks efficiently and with attention to detail
Crate Builder Qualifications:
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Experience with hand tools and power tools (drills, nail guns, etc.)
- Carpentry, woodworking background preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Carpentry or farm work experience is a plus
