Job DescriptionMaterial Systems Analyst
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Material Systems Analyst to support our operations team. This temporary role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in SAP and inventory management. The position involves working closely with engineering and program management teams to ensure efficient material tracking and system accuracy.Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve COGI/EWM backflush error issues and minimize future occurrences
- Address and correct BoM (Bill of Materials) and routing discrepancies
- Provide SAP support for the Technology and Engineering Center (TEC) and related inventory needs
- Set up workstations and racking systems
- Monitor material flow from purchase order to delivery
- Support cycle count programs and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Identify and initiate corrections for BoM and routing errors
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Operates in both office and manufacturing settings
- Must be able to work in varying conditions including temperature extremes, noise, and heights
- Requires regular use of vision and hearing for safe and effective task completion
- Ability to concentrate and follow detailed instructions in a methodical manner
- Team collaboration and adherence to safety protocols are essential
Travel:
- Occasional travel may be required
