The Electrical Panel Builder is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels according to technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. This role requires precision, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints to ensure panels meet safety and quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire electrical panels, enclosures, and components per schematics and layout drawings.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials.
- Install and label components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, switches, and terminal blocks.
- Perform continuity, insulation, and functional testing to verify panel performance and safety.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve design or wiring issues.
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards (UL, NEC, OSHA).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical certification in electrical or industrial technology.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly, panel building, or industrial wiring preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
