Location: McCook, IL (On-site, full-time)

Compensation: $71,000-$80,000 base salary, plus benefits (medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, PTO, AFLAC, and 401k with company match)

Employment: Full-time, permanent (direct hire)

A well-established manufacturer of engineered specialty products is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead its Weld Department (MIG, TIG, and robotic welding) and keep daily production running strong.

What You'll Own

- Supervise daily production with primary responsibility for weld operations

- Ensure schedules are met across welding booths, robotic cells, and downstream processes

- Balance labor and workflow to eliminate bottlenecks and maintain throughput

- Track and report daily KPIs (output, efficiency, rework, on-time delivery)

- Lead, coach, and develop welders and operators, including hiring, onboarding, and reviews

- Enforce OSHA and welding safety practices, and support weld quality and first-article inspection

- Drive Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

- 5+ years of manufacturing experience with significant exposure to welding operations

- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a production environment

- Strong working knowledge of MIG, TIG, and robotic welding processes

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols

- High school diploma or GED

Nice to Have

- Technical or trade school education

- High-mix or high-volume manufacturing experience

- Knowledge of WPS/PQR documentation and AWS/ASME/ISO codes

- Familiarity with ERP systems and production reporting tools
