A healthcare opportunity awaits skilled ICU Registered Nurses ready to make an impact in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract role is based in Boerne, TX, with a premier medical center nearby known for its patient-focused and faith-based approach to care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses accepted)
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of ICU nursing experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification required
- Preferred: Experience in Medical ICU (MICU) or Medical-Surgical ICU (MSICU) settings and familiarity with Meditech electronic charting
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide specialized care in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting
- Perform procedures including chest tube and tracheostomy care, intubations, central and arterial line management, NG tube and Foley catheter care, and dressing changes
- Adhere to unit policies such as punctuality, proper badging, and a full 30-minute lunch break
- Participate in a floating policy as required

Schedule/Hours:
- Rotating shifts: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Weekend rotations included
- Guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week
