A registered nurse with cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience is needed for a contract position based in Alabaster, AL. This role focuses on adult patient care in a specialized CVOR setting, requiring expertise in cardiovascular procedures and nursing.

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 nursing care for adult patients in a state-of-the-art CVOR environment with two designated CVOR rooms.
- Assist with surgical procedures, including scrubbing and circulating when capable.
- Maintain accuracy in documentation using Cerner SurgiNet EMR.
- Participate in call rotations every other day and weekend.
- Adhere to strict dress code standards requiring navy blue scrubs and low linting attire.
Qualifications
- Active RN licensure.
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR nursing experience is required.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH (AHA-approved).
- Ability to float and work flexible shifts as needed.
- Preferred: experience scrub-setting and circulating during surgeries.
Schedule
- Day shift, 0545-1415.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- Weekend hours: call only.
