TRAVEL – Cath Lab Tech (746) / MC Weatherford / 7A-7P
*Must have RAD TECH experience

\n Address: 713 E. Anderson St, Weatherford, TX 76086

\n Building: Main- Cath lab (Heart and Vascular Center)
\n General Information
\n Tell us about the unit(s):
\n Number of Beds – 6 holding bays and 2 cath lab procedure rooms (we turn bays quickly)
\n Number of Staff – 13 total (FT- 2 CVT s, FT- 7 RN s, PT-1 RN, PRN- 1 CVT, 2 RNs)
\n Type of staff:
\n Day Shift – M, T, W are our busiest days – All FT staff work and PRN s if available, TH/F light
\n Shifts- We do 12 hour days or until we re finished. Some days can be long
\n Patient Ratios – 4 man teams, RNs rotate through cath lab holding (pre-op/recovery)
\n Type of equipment – Cath lab 1 Client equipment and Cath lab 2 is a Philips equipment
\n EMR – Meditech / Merge
\n On Call Requirement – Yes, running around 15 days in a 6-week time frame (self-scheduling)
\n Floating Requirement – If short of hours and other departs need tasking, you can float to task if needed
\n Typical hiring profile
\n Skill Set Most recruited for: Cath lab RN: circulator, scrub, preop/recovery. CV Xray Tech: Scrub / Xray Cath Lab Tech Certification
\n Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
\n RN: experience in circulating and or scrubbing / monitoring /preop / recovery
\n CV Xray Tech: must be registered, able to Xray cath lab cases
\n Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
\n Nice to have RN and CV Xray Tech with scrub experience, pre-post procedure care experience
\n List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
\n R/L heart caths, peripheral, carotids angio/stents, PE/DVT cases, impella/IABP, TEE/Cardioversion, PPM s, IVC filters, ECMO cannulations
\n Best personality Fit:
