Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry, has an immediate opening for a Senior Accounting Clerk (Corporate Tax) for a 6-month+ contract. Our client offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference - every day! This role will specifically work within the Corporate Tax Department, performing different tasks that will assist in the tax return process. Additionally, this role will assist with tax planning projects as needed.
Position Description (Principal Duties and Responsibilities)
- Performs data entry related to accounts payable and receivable.
- Reviews and processes billing and payroll transactions.
- Codes invoices to accounts.
- Prepares periodic reconciliation reports.
- Posts cash receipts.
- Able to perform general bookkeeping tasks as assigned.
- Requires aptitude for quantitative analysis and strong MS Excel skills
Requirements:
- Must be confident in their computer skills, quick learner, and have confidence in decision making
- Must have good communication and writing skills to interact with various departments and with outside reporting jurisdictions
- 4+ yrs experience with domestic corporate tax processing and filings.
- Minimum Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree desired
