Position Summary:
We are currently hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a skilled nursing team in Staten Island, NY. The LPN will provide direct patient care, support daily nursing operations, and assist residents with medical and personal care needs in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Collect required admission information for new residents
- Record resident health data including vital signs and temperature
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Treat and dress wounds and bedsores as needed
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) when required
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and dressing
- Monitor resident food, fluid intake, and output
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing and interdisciplinary team
Qualifications:
- Active New York State LPN License
- Must be in good standing with the State Registry
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and patient care skills
