Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Soliant has an opening for a contracted School Psychologist in the Huntington, MD. This position is for the 2025-2026 School Year. Soliant offers Weekly Pay, guaranteed hours, and an exceptional Health Benefits & 401k package.
Job Details:
- Full-Time 35 hours a week
- August 18, 2025, to June 11, 2026
- Onsite/Hybrid
- Would be covering 2 schools - 1 secondary/1 elem- all openings are located in the mid to south portion of the county
- Directorwould consider hybrid for a STRONG/MPC applicant(with all student centered work being done in person and to be available to schools for work week (based on length of contract)
- Must be certified School Psych in MD - out of state and new grads are wele!
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed School Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- School experience is preferred but not required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans.
- Provide counseling and therapy services to students facing emotional or behavioral challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Serve as a resource and provide training to school staff on topics such as mental health, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
