Position Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Installer to join our field team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the installation of HVAC systems in new construction and retrofit commercial environments. You'll play a key role in ensuring our systems are installed efficiently, safely, and up to code, representing the quality Spurk HVAC is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, mount, and secure HVAC units, ductwork, piping, and control systems in commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
- Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to maintain timelines
- Perform start-ups, testing, and system verification
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order
- Document work completed and communicate updates to team leads or supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC installation experience
- Proficient in reading blueprints and mechanical plans
- Knowledge of current building codes and OSHA safety regulations
- EPA 608 Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
