Job Title: Graphic Designer Department: Marketing
Classification: Hourly/Non-exempt Reports to: Senior Graphic Designer
Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for creating visually engaging and effective designs across various mediums, including digital, print, and social media. You will collaborate with fellow designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to bring our brand to life and support our marketing initiatives.
Education and Experience:
· 3+ years of graphic design or equivalent experience.
· BA in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
· Video editing experience, plus
· Background in sports, not required
Responsibilities:
Visual Communication:
- Produce high-quality designs for a variety of marketing materials, as assigned including:
- Social media graphics
- Website assets
- Email templates
- Brochures and flyers
- Presentations
- Advertisements (digital and print)
- Packaging (if applicable)
- Catalogs, Look Books, and Price Lists
- Ensure brand consistency across all design projects and ensure brand adherence to brand guidelines
- Support at photo and video shoots as needed. Capture behind the scenes and additional marketing photography at shoots, as needed. Assist in the post-production of imagery including color correction and finalization of photo files.
Collaboration:
· Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm ideas and develop concepts.
· Collaborate with marketing and other teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Support in and participate in training or cross-training of other creative team members.
· Take direction and feedback from senior level members of creative team.
· Adhere to all deadlines and deliverables as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiently use industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Maintain awareness of current design trends and best practices.
- Manage and organize design files efficiently.
- Strong understanding of design principles
- Communication and presentation skills
- Ability to adapt to changing market trends and client needs
Physical Demands:
· Manual dexterity for keyboarding
· Frequent sitting
· Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
· Occasional walking and standing
· Ability to travel occasionally
