Job Title: Millwright
Job Description
As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the erection and installation of machinery, including tasks such as leveling, aligning, and setting machinery on foundations or base plates. You will work with steel and often combine skills from other mechanical trades to install industrial machinery or assemble machines from prefabricated parts. Reading blueprints and schematics is essential for constructing complex systems.
Pay: $30-33 ($125 Per Diem for Travelers)
Responsibilities
- Disassemble and assemble machinery using personal hand tools.
- Operate machinery rigging equipment and tooling such as dollies, jacks, lift trucks, and scissors lifts.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to execute floor layouts and set equipment elevations.
- Understand and work on complex material handling systems, equipment, motors, and alignment.
- Use alignment and leveling tooling such as Brunson, K&E, and Rotalign.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in hand tools and industrial equipment
- Experience in equipment installation and industrial construction
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years working in the industry and manufacturing facilities
- Familiarity with operating machinery rigging equipment
- Working knowledge of alignment and leveling tools such as Brunson, K&E, and Rotalign

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
