Our client in the Old Bridge area is seeking a reliable, highly organized Office Manager to support day-to-day operations and provide administrative, operational, and technology support across the organization; ideally, will have construction or related field. This role partners closely with leadership and internal teams to help maintain efficient processes, support employees, and adapt to the evolving needs of a growing company. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and comfortable working independently while juggling multiple priorities.
This role is in office, Monday-Friday with hours of 8-4:30pm. This role will require a minimum of 5 years of office management experience.
Key Responsibilities
People & Team Support
- Provide oversight and ongoing support to one direct report, including regular check-ins and annual reviews
- Act as a resource to internal teams by providing coverage and assistance during peak times
Administrative & Operational Support
- Help maintain and improve internal processes, documentation, and administrative systems
- Provide backup support across office and coordination functions as needed
- Partner with senior leadership to support company objectives and evolving operational needs
Financial & Reporting Support
- Assist with routine operational reporting, dashboards, and internal tracking tools
- Support forecasting, project tracking, and data updates in collaboration with internal teams
- Help maintain system records related to customers, projects, and operational closeouts
Technology & Systems Coordination
- Administer and maintain access to various internal software platforms and tools
- Oversee basic office technology and asset tracking, including setup and coordination for new hires
- Serve as a first point of contact for basic troubleshooting and coordinate with external IT support when needed
Employee & Culture Support
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assist with internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and company events
- Maintain training records, certifications, and related documentation
General Office Support
- Assist with general office operations, including phone coverage when needed
- Perform additional duties as required to support business operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office management, administration, or a similar support role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable learning and working across multiple software platforms and systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and general business technology
- Dependable, punctual, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support continuous process improvement
