Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a travel assignment in Saint Charles, MO. This role involves providing specialized speech and language therapy services within a school setting, supporting students with communication disorders to enhance their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student performance
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively regarding student development
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students and staff
- Ability to travel to and work in different school environments as part of the assignment
