Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Clerk/Assistant located in Brogue, PA. The Accounting Clerk/Assistant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, accounting, financial statements preparation, and the use of accounting software. This role also involves maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with finance-related tasks.
Duties
- Research and analyze accounting data and prepare reports.
- Review financial data to ensure it is accurate and up to date and correct discrepancies.
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Prepare reports by generating and reconciling comprehensive financial reports that aid in strategic planning and analysis.
- Maintain records by organizing subsidiary ledgers and conducting audits to ensure all reports align.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree – Accounting/ Finance
- 2-3 years experience in accounting processes and techniques.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with solid Excel skills.
- QuickBooks proficiency is a plus
