We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule of up to 8-10 hours per week and requires occasional in-person collaboration in Greenwich, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in QuickBooks Online and a strong background in managing financial transactions and reconciliations.


Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

• Generate and review financial reports to support business decision-making.

• Handle inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account discrepancies.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial procedures.

• Assist with year-end financial preparations and audits as necessary.

• Monitor and manage cash flow to support operational needs.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
• Must be able to commute to Greenwich, Connecticut for onsite work once a week.
• Familiarity with the services industry is a plus.
