Qualifications & Experience
- Active Physical Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
- Proficient with IEP development and progress measurement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, flexible, and eager to adapt to a range of school environments
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high schools
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and ensure timely IEP documentation
- Monitor students’ progress, adjust interventions, and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, special educators, teachers, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Promote safe mobility, access, and functional participation within the educational setting
