Job DescriptionPosition: Assembler

  • Placement Type: 90-Day Contract-to-Union
  • Shift Hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday through Thursday)
    • Occasional overtime on Friday mornings
  • Starting Pay: $23.00 per hour (Paid Weekly)
    • Pay increases to $24.00 per hour after 90-days
    • Pay increases to $25.00 per hour after 1 year of direct hire

Job Description

Our client specializes in manufacturing furniture. As an assembler, you will be responsible for assembling furniture utilizing various hand and power tools, following blueprints and tape measures for accurate assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble various furniture (tables, desks, and chairs) using hand and power tools.
  • Utilize tools such as screwdrivers, power drills, rivet guns, sockets, and wrenches.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures
  • Drill and attach various components such as hinges, legs, and arms.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of transferable assembly experience
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools (Screwdrivers, power drills, rivet guns, sockets, wrenches)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures
  • Must be able to pass:
    • BG check
    • 4 Panel drug screen (does not test for THC)
    • Education verification (GED or High School Diploma)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
