Assistant Director of Nursing for Costa Mesa Campus
Program: Vocational Nursing
Education:
Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or Nursing Administration, or a related field
Licensure:
Current, unencumbered RN license for California
Teaching Experience:
Minimum one year of teaching at the ADN or BSN level or higher, including course development and curriculum oversight.
Clinical Experience:
Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience as RN
Administrative / Leadership Experience:
Supervising faculty, curriculum development, program assessment/accreditation, budget oversight, policy development, and sometimes recruitment of faculty. Strong skills in evaluation, program outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
Interpersonal / Leadership Skills:
Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively with diverse student, faculty, and staff populations. Capacity to lead program improvements and strategic planning initiatives.
