Responsibilities
- Set up and operate plastic extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
- Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in plastic extrusion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plastic extrusion processes.
- Strong understanding of machinery operation and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
