Job Overview:
The Facility Interior Utility Systems Sub-Activity Management Plan (AMP) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing facility and infrastructure energy projects within military environments. This role ensures compliance with energy management policies, optimizes energy efficiency, and contributes to long-term infrastructure sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support facility infrastructure projects related to energy systems.
- Ensure compliance with energy management standards and policies.
- Coordinate with military and engineering teams on energy-related infrastructure improvements.
- Oversee data collection and analysis to optimize energy use in military facilities.
- Develop and implement energy efficiency programs and strategies.
- Ensure all projects align with Certified Energy Manager (CEM) requirements.
- Provide technical oversight and leadership in facility and infrastructure energy projects.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to energy performance and project execution
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A Master’s degree in engineering, architecture, mathematics, or physical sciences and at least 3 years of military facility/infrastructure energy-related experience
OR
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, mathematics, or physical sciences and at least 6 years of military facility/infrastructure energy-related experience
OR
- A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited U.S. institution and at least 10 years of military facility/infrastructure energy-related experience.
AND
- Active Secret Clearance Required OR Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with energy efficiency programs and federal energy mandates.
- Strong knowledge of military facility infrastructure systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a government/military setting.
- Excellent project management and analytical skills.
