Oak Ridge Country Club in Hopkins, MN is actively looking to fill the role of Beverage and Dining Services Manager. We are building a strong team around effective communication, teamwork and collaboration.

Classification: Exempt

Education and/or Experience:

  • - High school diploma or GED required.

  • - A four-year college degree in Hospitality is preferred.

  • - Five years of experience in private club or hospitality industry with an emphasis on bar operations and service training

Job Summary:

Partners with the Dining Services Manager to responsibly manage all restaurant and pool front-of-house operations at the Club. Works closely with the Senior F&B Manager to develop and manage a dynamic beer, wine and spirits program. Performs inventory and meets revenue and expense goals as defined in the annual budget. Supervises all front-of-house food and beverage department staff and actively works to improve operations and overall training procedures.

Core Duties:

  • - Regularly tours all food and beverage outlets to ensure member/guest needs are met

  • - Responsible for the management, development, mentorship and performance of all front-of-house staff with an emphasis on bar training and development

  • - Plans events, promotions and drink specials to improve the beverage program for members and guests

  • - Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of bar areas, dining rooms, service areas and equipment through regular inspections and staff direction

  • - Develops standard operating procedures to ensure that bars and service areas are set up and operated efficiently

  • - Maintains an adequate supply of liquor, wine, beer and other beverages through effective inventory management and systems

  • - Ensures front-of-house staff are in proper, clean uniforms at all times

  • - Ensures that opening and/or closing and side-work lists are completed for their shift

  • - Trains staff on all aspects of Jonas point-of-sale system and performs edits to the system in conjunction with the Senior F&B Manager

  • - Works with the Senior F&B Manager, Dining Services Manager and Executive Chef to develop wine pairings, special menus, features, and food specials
