Position Summary:
As a Pastry Chef at Paris Baguette, you’ll be part of a passionate culinary team dedicated to crafting high-quality, visually stunning pastries, cakes, and desserts. You’ll bring creativity, precision, and a love for baking to every shift, helping deliver joy to guests through beautifully executed confections.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts following established recipes and standards
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair and consistency
- Scale, mix, and produce creams, sauces, and fillings for baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to meet production timelines
- Receive and stock ingredients in designated storage areas
- Assist in training new pastry team members on techniques and procedures
- Ensure cake displays are visually appealing and refreshed regularly
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in pastry or baking roles (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
- Creativity and attention to detail in presentation and flavor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Culinary certification or formal training in pastry arts (a plus)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
