Now Hiring: Surgical Tech – Multi Specialty Clinic - General/Orthopedics/OBGYN/GYN

Full-Time | Competitive Pay | 3 Months Contract

High Chances of Securing a Permanent Placement after the Contract ends

Location: Houston, TX 77055

• Scheduled: 8 Hours in a Day, 5 Days in a week
• Shift: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm, M-F

Hourly compensation: $30.00 - $31.50 Per hour.

Summary:

This is a comprehensive multispecialty healthcare facility offering both primary and specialty care for patients of all ages. The center provides access to a broad range of medical services, including preventive care, diagnostics, imaging, laboratory, pharmacy, and outpatient procedures, ensuring patients receive coordinated and continuous care in one convenient location.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are available.
• Sterilize, assemble, and arrange surgical instruments and materials in compliance with infection control standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Registered Nurses to provide care for surgical patients in the OR suite.
• Preparation: Prepare instruments and equipment for each surgical procedure.
• Assistance During Surgery: Scrub in on surgical cases to assist the surgeon by preparing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Assist in the turnover of operating rooms and ensure proper decontamination of instruments.
• Contribute to the orientation and training of new surgical technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as they relate to specific age groups, including infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualification:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Current BLS from AHA
