A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in Aurora, CO, for the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves delivering specialized speech and language services to a caseload of 35-50 students, helping each child reach their communication goals through tailored therapy sessions.
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Contract Duration: August 11, 2025 May 29, 2026
Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 35-37.5 hours weekly
Caseload: 35-50 K-12 students
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment data
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and screenings
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned students
- Provide direct therapy services utilizing evidence-based methods
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students educational success
