Job Title: Event Flagger / Snow Removal Crew

Location: Denver, CO

Employment Type: Part-Time / On-Call Compensation: $20.00/hr for flagging / $22.00/hr for snow removal

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as an Event Flagger / Snow Removal Crew Member. This role involves managing traffic control during events in surface parking lots and providing snow removal services for lots and sidewalks during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable of performing outdoor labor in varying weather conditions, and able to interact professionally with the public.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage traffic control procedures during events, including the setup of signs, cones, barricades, and other safety equipment.

Safely direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic in accordance with all safety standards.

Respond to snow events by shoveling sidewalks and applying ice melt before, during, and after snowfall.

Maintain clean and obstruction-free parking lots by removing trash and debris.

Load and unload traffic control equipment such as cones, signs, and barricades.

Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Assist customers with parking and payment inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.

Ensure vehicles are parked within designated spaces and provide guidance when needed.

Communicate issues or safety concerns promptly to the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

Must have reliable transportation and be able to report to work within one hour of dispatch, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and using hand tools for extended periods.

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, and wind.

Ability to follow directions and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public.

Prior experience in traffic control, snow removal, or general labor is a plus, but not required.

Must be dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
