Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum one year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
- Solid understanding of pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care procedures
- Commitment to patient safety and best surgical practices
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients during all phases of operative procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to deliver safe, efficient patient care
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment
- Monitor patient status, anticipate needs, and respond quickly to changes during surgery
- Document procedures, patient progress, and interventions in accordance with hospital policies
- Follow infection control standards and assist in the management of surgical instruments and supplies
