Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Combination Building Inspector to perform comprehensive inspections across all major construction trades (building, electrical, and mechanical) for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and all applicable local building codes.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Conduct thorough field inspections on construction projects for compliance with adopted building, mechanical, and electrical codes.</li>
<li>Review construction plans and specifications</li>
<li>Document inspection findings, issue correction notices, and prepare clear, detailed reports and records related to compliance status.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must be currently licensed as a Maryland Master Electrician</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of adopted national and local building, electrical, and mechanical codes and standards.</li>
<li>A valid state driver’s license and the ability to travel regularly to various inspection sites in Prince George's County, Maryland</li>
