We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a well-established company in Keene, New Hampshire. This part-time, Contract role offers a flexible schedule of up to 15 hours per week, providing an excellent opportunity for growth within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will bring strong bookkeeping expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with the team.


Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely transactions.

• Perform month-end closing tasks, including reconciliations and adjustments.

• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to maintain accurate records.

• Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for management review.

• Conduct weekly bookkeeping activities to ensure consistent financial tracking.

• Collaborate with team members to address accounting discrepancies and improve processes.

• Utilize Sage accounting software and Microsoft Excel to complete financial tasks efficiently.

• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and compliance.

• Analyze and reconcile credit card and cash transactions to ensure accuracy in reporting.

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Sage accounting software or similar systems.
• Strong ability to prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for working closely with team members.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry or similar field is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible, part-time schedule.
