Job DescriptionMedical Collector in Cincinnati We are currently assisting our client in Cincinnati, that is adding a Medical Collections candidate to their team! We are seeking prior experience in claims resolution, denials, and appeals. Job notes: • Hiring method: Temp to Perm / Contract to Hire • Location: Onsite in Cincinnati (Norwood) • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM • Hourly pay rate: $20-24/hour (DOE) Responsibilities include: • Resolving medical AR, including denied/rejected and unpaid claims • Reading and analyzing EOB • Requesting medical records or obtaining additional information to resolve claims • Interacting with insurance payers via phone or payer portals • Following up on unpaid claims and working off aging reports Qualified candidates will have: • 3 or more years of experience in medical collections/claims resolution • Strong knowledge of both commercial and government payers, including contracts and guidelines • Strong knowledge of denials management, including correcting and resubmitting claims • Prior experience utilizing both EMR and clearinghouse systems

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
