Job Title: Home Care Attendant – Housekeeping & Pet Care

About the Role:

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Home Care Attendant to assist with maintaining a clean, organized home. Light housekeeping and some pet care required. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, love animals, and be comfortable working independently in a private personal setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping Duties:

• General cleaning and tidying of living area, kitchen, bedroom, and bathrooms

• Weekly changing of bed linens, pillow cases, and towels

• Washing drying, folding laundry, bed linens, and towels

• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming

• Dish washing, wiping down counter surfaces and kitchen organization

• Maintaining refrigerator, removing expired items and wiping down shelving as needed

• Occasional errands such as grocery shopping (if needed)

Pet Care Duties:

• Feeding and providing fresh water to pets

• Litter box and waste clean-up - including potty pads and spot cleaning pet accidents

• Monitoring pet behavior and reporting any concerns

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in housekeeping and pet care

• Comfortable with animals of various sizes, ages, and temperaments

• Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shift

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Trustworthy, punctual, and respectful of client privacy

• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs

Preferred:

• Experience with young, senior or special-needs pets

Schedule:

Hours may range from 3-4 hour shifts Monday - Friday and can include some Saturdays
