Job DescriptionJob Title: Financial Advisor Transition Consultant
Schedule: Business Standard Hours
Duration: Contract role, likely to extend
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
Location: Initial training will take place on site in St. Louis, MO on May 11th, for approximately one month. Following training, the position will be fully remote. Please note that the role requires approximately 90% travel across the country.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary relationship manager for Financial Advisors during their transition to Wells Fargo Wealth & Investment Management.
Lead and coordinate all phases of the transition process, including planning, execution, and post-transition support.
Travel extensively to meet with Financial Advisors, branch teams, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful transitions.
Act as a liaison between Financial Advisors and internal partners (operations, compliance, technology, legal, and onboarding).
Educate Financial Advisors on Wells Fargo platforms, policies, processes, and available resources.
Track transition milestones, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues to minimize client impact
Maintain detailed documentation, reporting, and status updates for each transition.
Ensure all transition activities comply with regulatory, legal, and Wells Fargo policies.
Deliver a high-touch, consultative experience that reinforces advisor confidence and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple transitions simultaneously.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 90%).
Must possess and maintain a personal credit card for business travel and expenses (reimbursed per company policy).
