Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Duration: 11 Weeks
Pay Rate: $1,925 – $2,198.50 per Week (Travel Pay)
Schedule & Shift Details
- 40 hours per week
- Rotating shifts:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation team. This role is ideal for a nursing professional who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment and is committed to delivering high-quality care while supporting and supervising nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform clinical procedures such as catheterization, tube feedings, suctioning, and wound care
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions
Team Supervision
- Oversee and direct daily activities of Nursing Assistants
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and high standards of care
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Document responses to treatment and care plans
- Process physician orders, admissions, transfers, and discharges
Care Coordination
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Accurately transcribe and implement physician orders
Patient Advocacy
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
- Uphold patient confidentiality and resident rights at all times
Diagnostic Support
- Collect and prepare specimens (urine, blood, sputum) for testing
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Massachusetts LPN license
- Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program or nursing school
- Certifications: Current BLS / CPR and AED certification required
- Experience: Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
- Ability to make sound clinical decisions independently
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
