This position is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable, receivables, and general ledger processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, a collaborative attitude, and proficiency in both English and Spanish. The Accounting Assistant will report directly to the Director of Finance – Controller.Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Support accounts receivable functions, including deposits, posting payments, and journal entries
- Assist with monthly close activities such as balance sheet reconciliations and labor reports
- Maintain accurate vendor records and assist in 1099 preparation and reporting
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and employees in both English and Spanish
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in A/P, A/R, and general ledger accounting preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Netsuite is required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Strong data entry and analytical skills with attention to detail

The base pay range for this position is $22–$25 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
