We are seeking an Analyst, Market Analytics to join our Market Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for supportingelectricitymarket analysisandforecastingacross all U.S.power markets.This individuals contributions to development of internal modelsandevaluation of third-partymarket analysiswillsupport the translation ofmarket data into meaningful insights that informcommercial and investment decisions for Jupiters energy storage portfolio.
This role will be based out of our Austin, TX office and is subject to our Companys return-to-office policy which currently requires a minimum of three days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseesummary and analysisofthird-partyenergy storagemarketreports,including extractionand visualizationof assumptions and forecastsandreviewofISOmarket designprinciples, and presenttimelyupdates to Market Analyticscolleaguesregardingtrends in third-party views.
- Perform research, manipulate large datasets,and build analytical tools to support evaluation of electricity market drivers and outcomes.
- Assistin documentation and development of summary materialsregardingMarket Analyticsactivity andfindings.
- Coordinate with Finance and Origination teams to provide revenueinputsforRFP responses,commercialnegotiations, and investment cases, ensuring fidelity and standardization of revenue assumptions asadvisedby senior members of the Market Analytics team.
- Support execution of energy storage revenue modeling.
- Maintain Jupiters library of market reports and forecasts.
- Contribute to Market Analytics team recommendations for use by Jupiters management, investors, and Board of Directors to support the evaluation of commercial opportunities and investment decisions.

Requirements
- Degree in Engineering,Mathematics,Economicsor other quantitative discipline
- Stronginterestinelectricity market concepts, including marketfundamentalsand market design principles
- Strong competency in data analysis and visualization using tools including Excel, R, and/or Python
- Understanding of statistical concepts and methods
- Understandingoforinterest inenergy storage technology and how to incorporate its technical parameters intoeconomic analysis andtools.
- Effective ability to communicatequantitative concepts
- High comfort level with small teams & organizations, withinitiativeand enthusiasm to formulatenew ideasin collaboration withco-workers.
