We are seeking an experienced MD or DO for a flexible Medical Director opportunity in the Florence, KY area.
\n
\n
This is a part-time physician leadership role with potential to transition to full-time, offering flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on care quality and resident outcomes.

Responsibilities
\n

- Provide clinical oversight for skilled nursing and long-term care residents.
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Provide guidance on complex geriatric and chronic conditions.
- Participate in care planning and case reviews.
- Review quality metrics, hospitalization rates, infection control, and clinical outcomes.
- Support QAPI and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in regulatory, compliance, and clinical review activities.
- Mentor and provide clinical guidance to advanced practice providers.
- Partner with facility and operational leadership to improve care delivery.

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- MD or DO.
- Active, unrestricted medical license appropriate for the Kentucky practice location.
- Board Certified through ABMS or AOA.
- 5+ years of post-residency experience.
- 3+ years of physician leadership experience.
- SNF/LTC, geriatrics, post-acute, managed care, or population health experience preferred.
