Job Summary
As a Bartender, you are responsible for crafting high-quality beverages quickly and consistently, following established recipes and guidelines set by the Food and Beverage department. You provide both direct and indirect service throughout the guest’s dining experience, always ensuring exceptional hospitality. In addition to preparing drinks, you maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards. Your commitment to superior guest service helps create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for every guest.
Responsibilities
· Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
· Verify that guests purchasing alcohol are at least 21 years of age.
· Maintain comprehensive knowledge of bar and menu items to provide accurate recommendations.
· Accurately take food and beverage orders in a timely manner for bar and lounge guests.
· Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames.
· Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
· Ensure alcohol consumption is limited to designated areas.
· Build and maintain a professional, hospitable rapport with every guest served.
· Complete opening, running, and closing side work assignments as scheduled.
· Collaborate effectively as a team member to support smooth operations.
· Attend ongoing training sessions, review shift notes, and participate in pre-shift meetings.
· Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Minimum age of 21 years.
· Ability to obtain any required licenses or permits.
· Minimum of 1 year experience operating a full-service bar.
· Strong knowledge of mixology, drink menus, and classic cocktail preparation.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests.
· Strong verbal communication skills, along with accurate math and cash-handling abilities.
