In this onsite role, you’ll engage with high school students, leading Math classes and supporting their academic growth. You’ll join a collaborative team that values educational excellence, student achievement, and professional development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required
- Valid Pennsylvania state teaching certification in Math or General Education
- Previous experience teaching high school students (preferred)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Teach and design engaging high school Math lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Assess student progress and provide effective feedback and support
- Create lesson plans and instructional materials to facilitate differentiated learning
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performance
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities
