Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted School Psychologist position is available from March 16, 2026, through June 5, 2026, serving students from preschool through 12th grade in the Rio Vista, CA area. This role offers a hybrid work environment with some on-site presence expected at two school locations within the 94571 and 95641 zip codes. The exact weekly hours are to be determined but are less than full-time, providing flexibility in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across preschool to 12th grade.
- Develop and implement intervention plans to support student learning and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive educational environments.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience with Preschool-12+ student populations.
- Ability to work effectively within a hybrid/ in-person school setting.
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in school psychology.
Location:This position is based in the Rio Vista area of California, with work performed at two school sites in the 94571 and 95641 zip codes. The hybrid schedule will require on-site presence at these locations.
